“Holistic Healing Centre is a one-person practice. Taanya Nagi works from D-96 Anand Niketan in New Delhi, and there is no branch or partner clinic in Dubai. What is offered to people in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE is online work: counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, Reiki at a distance, and the NLP, EFT and IEMT techniques she has trained in, held over video or WhatsApp at hours that fit a Gulf evening.”
Treatment & Support

Why Indians in the Gulf look for support from home
Life in the Emirates can be very good, but it has a shape that family in India rarely see. Your residence visa is tied to your employer, so a bad manager or a redundancy is not just a career problem, it is a question of whether you can stay. Rent, school fees and the money sent home each month leave little margin, and hours are long.
Then there is the distance. Parents are ageing in Ludhiana, Kochi or Hyderabad, and you are the one who left. Guilt about that sits under much of what people bring: the hospital visit you could not make, the wedding you joined on a video call, the sense of sending money in place of yourself. Partners on a dependent visa, unable to work and alone in a flat in Al Nahda while the other is out fourteen hours a day, describe a loneliness that is hard to explain to relatives who think of Dubai as glamorous.
- «Anxiety that has become constant, often tied to job security or visa status
- «Low mood and loss of interest that has gone on for months
- «Marital strain, including long-distance marriages and dependent-visa isolation
- «Guilt and grief about parents in India, including deaths you could not travel for
- «Burnout from long hours and the feeling of never being off duty
- «Sleep problems, and stress that shows up as tension, headaches or a racing heart
- «Wanting to talk to someone who understands an Indian family without needing it explained

What is offered online from Delhi
Talking therapy with a counsellor who holds an MA in Counselling Psychology and has practised for over twenty-five years. The work may draw on cognitive and behavioural methods, on how past relationships shape present ones, and on practical skills for anxiety, anger and conflict.
A guided, deeply relaxed state in which you stay aware and in control, used to work with habits, fears, performance anxiety, sleep and patterns that sit below conscious thinking. It works well over video with a quiet room and headphones. It is not stage hypnosis, and nobody can make you do anything you do not choose.
As a Reiki Master in the Usui lineage, Taanya offers distance Reiki and chakra balancing for Gulf clients. It is a relaxation practice many people find settling for stress, exhaustion and grief, offered as a complement to medical care and never in place of it. A separate page covers distance Reiki for Dubai.
Brief, structured techniques that can be woven into a session where they fit: for a specific fear, for taking the charge out of a particular memory, or for giving you something practical to use between sessions. They are tools, not a cure for anything.
- «Counselling
- «Clinical hypnotherapy
- «Reiki and energy work at a distance
- «NLP, EFT and IEMT

How online sessions work across the time difference
The time zones help. India Standard Time is only ninety minutes ahead of Gulf Standard Time, so a 7.30 pm slot in Dubai is 9.00 pm in Delhi, and both are ordinary evening hours. You can have a session after work without taking leave, and UAE weekend mornings line up just as well. Few places are as easy to work with from Delhi.
Sessions run over a video call or, if you prefer, WhatsApp voice. Booking and reminders are handled on WhatsApp at +91-9999344415. Privacy at your end matters: a parked car, a bedroom with the door shut, or a walk along a quiet stretch of the marina all work, and headphones keep the conversation yours. If you share a flat, say so, and the session can be planned around it.
- «The fee and payment options are confirmed when you book; there are no packages to commit to
- «Sessions are held in English, Hindi or Punjabi, whichever you think in
- «A backup phone number is agreed in case the video call drops
- «Nothing is shared with an employer or family member, with the single exception of an immediate risk to life

What to expect in a first session
The first meeting is mostly listening. You describe what has brought you here and what you would like to be different, and Taanya asks enough to understand the shape of it: your work and visa situation, who is with you in the UAE and who is back home, what you have already tried, and whether you are sleeping. Any existing diagnosis or medication is noted so counselling can sit alongside it.
By the end of the hour you should know whether the two of you can work together, roughly what the work would focus on, and have something small to try before next time. There is no pressure to continue.

Who this suits, and who it does not
It suits adults in the UAE who want confidential, culturally fluent support for stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief or anger without the cost and visibility of a clinic in their own community.
It is not the right service if you need a psychiatric diagnosis, medication, an assessment for work, court or immigration purposes, a report for a UAE employer or insurer, or treatment your insurance will reimburse. Those require a practitioner licensed by the DHA or the Department of Health. It is also not a crisis service: if you or someone near you is in immediate danger, call 999 or 998, or go to the nearest emergency department.

Questions & Answers
Everything you need to know before booking your first session.
Do you have a clinic in Dubai?+
No. The practice is in New Delhi and all work with UAE clients is online. If you visit India you are welcome to book in person at Anand Niketan.
Are you licensed to practise psychology in the UAE?+
No. Psychology titles and practice in the UAE are regulated by the health authorities, and Taanya holds no UAE licence. She offers counselling, hypnotherapy and Reiki from India to clients who choose to work with her online. For clinical diagnosis or medication, see a DHA or DoH licensed provider.
What time are sessions usually held?+
Most UAE clients book between 6 pm and 9 pm Gulf time on weekdays, which is 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm in Delhi. Weekend mornings are also possible, and the ninety-minute difference rarely causes any difficulty.
Is it really private if I am on a video call from home?+
The call is between you and Taanya only, and nothing is recorded. The practical risk is who can overhear you at your end, which is why headphones and a closed door are suggested, and why some clients take the call from their car.
Will counselling from India help with problems specific to Dubai?+
The pressures are particular, but the feelings underneath them, fear about the future, guilt, loneliness, are not. Taanya has worked with Indians abroad for most of her career, and asks rather than assumes.
