“A holistic approach to wellbeing looks at the person as a whole — thoughts, emotions, body and sense of meaning — rather than treating one symptom in isolation. The word comes from the Greek 'holos', meaning whole, and the term 'holism' was coined by Jan Smuts in 1926. Taanya Nagi's practice in South Delhi applies that idea to counselling: what is happening in your relationships, your body and your beliefs is considered together.”
Treatment & Support

What holistic sessions at the practice involve
Services offered include individual, couples and family counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP coaching, EFT and IEMT, Reiki treatments and classes, Pranic healing, chakra work, guided meditation, past life regression for those who want it, and oracle card readings. All of these are provided by Taanya herself.
Taanya holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and a Diploma in Holistic Healing and Counselling from the Holistic Living Training Institute in Melbourne, which qualifies her for certified membership of the Australian Holistic Healers Association. She is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, Reiki Master and advanced Pranic healer, and has practised since 2006.
- «Counselling that looks at the emotional blocks behind a difficulty, not only the difficulty itself
- «An approach chosen for the individual — talking therapy first, with hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT or an energy-based method added when useful
- «Work at a pace set by the client, whether that means a handful of sessions or ongoing support
- «Practical self-help tools taught in session so that progress continues between appointments
- «Clear boundaries about what complementary methods can and cannot do, and referral to medical care when needed

Holistic healing centre in New Delhi
The practice is at D-96 Anand Niketan, New Delhi 110021, a short drive from Vasant Vihar, Chanakyapuri, Shanti Niketan and the diplomatic enclave, and easy to reach from Gurgaon via the airport road. Clients who cannot come in person, whether elsewhere in Delhi NCR or overseas, are seen online.
Taanya moved her practice to Delhi after thirteen years in Australia. Her training there was in the Australian holistic-counselling tradition, which combines conventional talking therapy with mind–body methods; that combination remains the basis of how she works today.
Holistic work is not a substitute for medical treatment. Where a client has a diagnosed condition, is on medication or has physical symptoms that have not been checked, Taanya works alongside the treating doctor rather than instead of one, and will say clearly when a medical opinion should come first.

Who runs the holistic healing centre in New Delhi?
The practice is run by one person, Taanya Nagi, who works alone. Everything from the first phone call to the sessions themselves is with her. Reiki attunement classes and occasional small-group workshops are held at the same address; there are no courses in aromatherapy, reflexology or massage.

What are the benefits of holistic healing?
The main advantage of a holistic approach is that it takes in context. Anxiety in someone who is not sleeping, is in conflict at home and has stopped exercising is a different problem from anxiety in someone whose life is otherwise settled, and the plan for each should look different. Considering mind, body and circumstances together makes the plan fit the person.
Clients also report that combining talking with a body-based or relaxation method — Reiki, guided meditation, EFT, hypnotherapy — helps them feel calmer sooner, which in turn makes the counselling easier to engage with. For people who have found talk therapy alone slow going, that combination is often the difference.
Because the approach is built around self-help tools, gains tend to hold after sessions end. Learning to notice tension early, to interrupt a worry loop and to settle the body are skills that stay with you.
A holistic plan is individual by definition. Two clients with the same presenting concern may work in quite different ways depending on what they are comfortable with, what has helped before and what their week can accommodate.
Taanya does not claim that this approach resolves any medical or psychiatric condition. It is a way of supporting emotional wellbeing and personal change that can sit comfortably alongside conventional care.

What is the holistic healing centre in South Delhi known for?
Since 2006 Taanya has built her practice on a combination of counselling psychology and complementary methods learnt in Australia, and on being one consistent point of contact for each client. She does not make comparative claims about other practitioners; the first session is where you can judge for yourself whether the approach and the person suit you.

Learn To Be Sustainably Happy!
Your first visit to the practice is an assessment in the plainest sense: Taanya asks what you are dealing with, what has helped or not helped before, and whether you are under any medical care, then recommends where to start — often counselling first, with Reiki, hypnotherapy or another process added later if useful. Appointments are held at D-96 Anand Niketan in South Delhi and online for clients across the NCR and beyond. To book, phone or WhatsApp +91-9999344415; a short message describing your concern is enough.
